Interconnection plays a crucial role in the future of ensuring system stability for European electricity grids and is being encouraged in all European TSOs. The Celtic Interconnector project is due to be complete in 2026 and will allow for 700 MW to be traded between France and Ireland. In this webinar we will discuss the history of interconnection, the current status, and the future of interconnection from the perspectives of EirGrid, RTE, and leading experts in the field of interconnection.
